Join us as we wish Cindi a relaxing retirement—honoring her influential career championing the long-term service needs of the brain injury community and celebrate Side by Side’s 25th anniversary at our upcoming Clubhouse Open House event.

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to Side by Side’s mission, our Clubhouse Open House event is an opportunity to celebrate achievements, cultivate connections, and pave a pathway forward with our new leadership team.
Side by Side is a lifeline to individuals and families navigating life after brain injury. The Clubhouse is the home of our adult day program. For 25 years, Cindi has been the heart that has made this organization a supportive, dependable, and respected resource for over 800 individuals in their journey of recovery.
We’re inviting you to stop by or stay awhile as members of our community, whose lives have been touched by our mission, come together to honor Cindi’s career and celebrate the future of Side by Side.
What to Expect

- Gratitude and Appreciation. If you know Side by Side, you know Cindi Johnson and her dedication to serving the brain injury community. We’re gathering the Clubhouse family to wish Cindi a relaxing retirement and express our appreciation for her and for our Clubhouse—her legacy.
- Experience the power of the Clubhouse model. Take a Clubhouse tour led by members to gain a deeper understanding of the work members and staff accomplish together. You will feel the appreciation and compassion for this partnership program first-hand.
- Witness the unveiling of our new Scholarship Donor Wall. We’re so grateful to the individuals and organizations who stand side-by-side with us in our mission to rebuild lives after brain injury. This new donor wall is our way to honor those who understand our impact on the community and invest in our continued success.
- Indulge in a spectacular southern buffet. Enjoy Cindi’s favorite southern classics as we gather at the Clubhouse to honor the past and celebrate the future.

- Cindi kindly requests that instead of personal gifts, those who wish to contribute may do so by making a donation or selecting items from our Amazon Wish List to benefit the Clubhouse. Items can be brought to the Clubhouse on May 10 during the event or mailed directly to our facility (1001 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA 30083).
- Enter to win raffle prizes. Don’t let the opportunity to win one of our exciting raffle baskets slip away.
- Become a Sponsor! Attendance is FREE, but your support is invaluable to the continued growth and impact of our services. Clubhouse Open House sponsorship levels are below (pictured left) and the colored sponsorship benefits (pictured right) correspond to the matching-colored stone sponsorship level and all benefits below that level. Meaning, Lotus Bloom Guardian sponsors receive all the stacked benefits listed.
Our nonprofit organization offers vital services to the brain injury community that focus on vocational and psychosocial training, empowering individuals to rebuild skills, contribute purposeful work and gain greater independence in their homes and communities. Your partnership aids individuals and families in our community as they adjust to their new normal and rebuild their lives after injury.
