- Provide name, phone, and email. You will receive additional information after registration via email.
- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- We must continue to limit the number of people in the building. So…
- Don’t arrive before your designated time. If you do, remain in your vehicle in our parking lot. For those members arriving via transportation service, you may wait in the gazebo (no smoking!) or if raining, you’ll be guided to a waiting room.
- Please don’t wander through the building to visit friends because we will have full capacity in the building for the program day
- Vaccination flow will be guided to the administrative side of the first floor, including the Sweeney Suite and front porch
- You must remain 15 minutes (or 30 if the nurse advises you specifically to remain longer) for observation of adverse reaction. You may not hang out for the day unless it is already your scheduled day so plan to leave after your 15 minute wait time.
- Consider that you may experience side effects (fever, achy, fatigue) the following day or two so have Tylenol/Ibuprofen available, plenty of fluids, and allow rest time in your schedule. Most people do not have side effects but some do so it’s best to be prepared and know that you do not have the virus, rather your immune system is processing the vaccine. It’s a good thing!

We are so excited to have this opportunity to keep our members, their families, as well as the larger community safe and healthy, and to do our part to put Covid19 behind us! It has been quite a challenge for many Side by Side members, especially those who live alone, to negotiate the competitive vaccine appointment process, not to mention reliable transportation to get there and back home, so we are thrilled that Shepherd has stepped forward to make it easier for our most vulnerable to avoid this unpredictable virus. We look forward to soon inviting even more members (and our volunteers!) back to Side by Side. We hope you’ll take us up on the offer to become vaccinated so we can get back to normal life as soon as possible. Email cindi@sidebysideclubhouse.org with questions and remember- you will receive lots of additional information once you’re signed up!
