Happy DOGust! A Poem from Debbie

Privileged Four-Legged Friends There is more to to us than having four legs and a long tail. That’s some of us. We all have unique features that establish who we are. Common denominators are the whiskers that can be brittle for some and wirey for others. Then there’s a snout that can range from being flat to being very lengthy. Some of us run free all day and enjoy the sun, grass and the air we breathe. As for the unfortunate ones that are chained up or locked in a home, we can only wish for a rapid intervention. Some of us go to the parlor to get beautiful or at least look better. This event is not one we look forward to. Concerning events there’s a real treat in fetching a ball outside where there is room to run. Speaking of treats we like to collect on those too. I am very independent. I am a wonderful, lovable dog.
