Side by Side is Hiring
Are You Our Next Colleague?
When you walk up the ramp and through the door of Side by Side you may smell a casserole baking from the kitchen and hear a vacuum cleaner down the hall. It’s bright, open, and welcoming. It’s bustling with activity and you can’t tell clients from staff. That’s all by design. If you’ve ever been inside a Clubhouse partnership-model program, you know you’ve come home.
Our next colleagues will look forward to feeling as satisfied as they are tired at the end of a day. They will share the pride of someone they helped master a dessert recipe, sweep the dining room one-handed, or put their accounting expertise to work reconciling lunch money collections that day. They will laugh, maybe tear up a little, feel challenged and appreciated all in the same day. They don’t take seemingly small accomplishments for granted- they recognize the gratitude shared by Side by Side members for a second chance at life. They learn about support nets and how to loosen a little here, tighten a little there, so that every member’s strengths and talents are needed and valued no matter the thinking or physical challenges they may face.
If this describes you, then read on! If you meet our qualifications and are excited to meet our team, email your résumé and cover letter to our Executive Director.
