Need to Know: Change in Program Hours
NOVEMBER 2, 2015 THROUGH FEBRUARY 2016, SIDE BY SIDE PROGRAM HOURS WILL BE 8:30AM-2:30PM Construction is beginning for installation of a fire sprinkler system in our building. This is required by the Fire Marshall in order to meet a new state requirement that we be licensed as an Adult Day Center. Construction work will be performed during late afternoons, nights and weekends. Though this will increase the cost, it will allow us to remain open to members during this time. We anticipate that this project will take 3 to 4 months to complete. To ensure the safety of members and staff, we must vacate the building before 4:00pm each day. Given the unpredictable arrival of many transport providers, we are shifting the hours of the Clubhouse day. The daily schedule will begin and end one-half hour earlier. What you need to know:
- Monday November 2, 2015 is the first day of the new schedule
- New Clubhouse hours 8:30am-2:30pm
- Doors open at 7:30 am for member arrivals
- Please change all pickup times to ½ hour earlier. Even if your pickup time is 2:30 now, change it to 2:00. As you know, transit providers need a window of time, especially in afternoon traffic.
- Clubhouse will be open for Game Night on Friday, November 13
- Clubhouse will be closed Thursday Nov 26 (Thanksgiving day) & Friday Nov 27
- Clubhouse will be closed on Friday Dec 25 (Christmas day) & Friday Jan 1, 2016 (New Year’s Day)
