Writing About Something Nice
Hello everyone, Last time I wrote a blog, I did a lot of spewing about my transportation being so very late. (I’ve NEVER ridden with that company again by the way. Usually it takes me about an hour to get home from here because I live a few counties away. There are no services in my county like this one. Believe me. I checked. From the time I called until the time I got home it took about four hours. I’m back to my regular company now of course.) Even though I truly believe transportation is the biggest barrier for brain injury survivors, I won’t be spewing about that this time. This time I would like to quickly touch on how wonderful it was for me to learn something new. There was another member who is really very good at IT stuff anyway, so dealing with Excel Spreadsheets is easy for him. He showed me how to split the screen and he showed me how to freeze panes. I’m sure I knew that at some point. Since my injury, I don’t remember things sometimes. He helped me, was patient with me (even though it was something easy), and he was nice about it too. I am so thankful for that. See, here at the clubhouse, we help one another. -Catherine]]>
