Side by Side’s 1st Virtual Meetings

Even though our Clubhouse is closed, Side by Side staff has been diligently reaching out to each and every member. We are making sure folks have essential supplies and are safe – plus we want to make the time at home a little bit easier.

We quickly pivoted and purchased a virtual meeting platform called Zoom. Since yesterday, March 24, we have been hosting two meetings per day for active members. It’s been really great to see our friends again – and break up the day a bit!

We checked in with each other, learned how to navigate Zoom together and even took a look at some animal cams from zoos together via Earthcam. It was fun to watch penguins line up for lunch and sharks in aquariums. Try it out if you’re bored at home!

Hi William! You can attend Zoom meetings with a computer, tablet or a phone. You will just click on a link that the staff sends in an email. Also, you can call Side by Side if you have questions or want to walk through the steps with someone.
